Original artwork description:

This Ink on Brown Paper drawing was done “en plein air” over three sessions in San Jose, California. It was drawn whilst I was staying with relatives in San Jose and it is in their garden. I was interested in the shapes of the branches on this tree and how the early evening light cast shadows across it. I drew it over three sessions because the light would change as the sun set. I built up the detail of this drawing by overlaying Ink and hatching to define shapes and shadows.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
