Artist's description:

I’m asked all the time what my pieces mean. I’m a bit reluctant at first to give it all up because I like to hear what the viewer sees. I do give a hint in my titles. Here with “Tree” we see a group of beings in a tree in what seems a beautiful day. What is their function in this world? Who really knows? Is the tree “Mother Earth?” There is of course much more to this story. What do you see?

My drawings are spontaneous as I start with a fine point pen and dip into black ink on paper. I usually use watercolor paper and on occasion bristol board. Once the ink has dried I apply acrylic colors with a fine brush. I then finalize each with color washes to create depth and variations.

Each of my drawings are placed in a simple black frame ready for hanging. I've included a studio shot of other drawings in the frames I use.

All shipping is based on UPS Ground (East Coast to West Coast.) If you wish to purchase this piece I’m happy to set up exact costs based on your location in the U.S. or abroad and re-adjust the shipping amount before your online purchase.
