Original artwork description:

Speaking of his great work,War and Peace, he said it's "not a novel, even less is it a poem, and still less a historical chronicle". Whether a novel or a great work of philosophical discussion, War and Peace represents a pinnacle of Russian Literature in the 19th Century. Using the opening words of this epic work, I have painted here an acrylic portrait of the great Russian writer and philosopher.

Materials used:

Acrylic Paint & Hammer Embossed Fine Art Paper
