Artist's description:

Who could ever forget the fantastic comedy of the late great Frankie Howard?
Every time I look at this image I can't help but smile :)
Frankie had wanted to be a serious actor, but was quickly type cast into comedy - there's something about the look in his eyes that tells a deeper story.
Painted over several months during this summer, using wet on wet followed by layers of thinned paint to build the details, I've finally finished it today:)
