Artist's description:

Male and female torsos from a batch of figurative mono prints sparked off by a Venus image as a popular culture icon, encompassing body image, voyeurism, fragmentation, Greek sculpture implications, expectations and intense diversity.

I spent years doing life drawing and was exploring the body related to the highly prevalent venus image and highly acclaimed Greek sculptures and the implications of the no arms and heads etc.

Annoyingly slightly Mooresque
This is of a black woman lying on her left side Exploring differing images relating to the subject and implicated meanings Breasts eyes left
