The tide is out in this narrow creek, leaving the boats high and dry.
The composition I have used has a strong diagonal leading towards the distant water, a line of boats below the trees, all of which is balanced by an old dead boat. The mud reflects the colours seen in the boats and the sky.
This painting does not need framing as it has painted edges that continues the picture around the corner.
