Artist's description:

The Shark Trust was established in 1997 to provide a voice for sharks in the UK. Today they are a well-respected advocate for shark management and protection and part of a global collaborative movement in shark conservation; working to safeguard shark, skate and ray populations through positive change.

The Thresher Shark is also known as the Alopias Vulpinus or Fox Shark. Its name comes from the sharks unusually large tail (caudal fin), which is in most cases, as long as the shark itself!

I paint wonderful animals and sell each piece in aid of relevant conservation charities. Each painting is researched and painted with care to make sure of accuracy and character. Each piece is shaded carefully with acrylic paint using an airbrush, and then details are added using chalk pencil and Prisma coloured pencils.

My paintings are packaged professionally and delivered by Mailboxes etc.

Materials used:

Acrylic, coloured pencils, chalk
