Artist's description:

Three oaks (#13/365 Postcards from Pembrokeshire)

Painted a meadow (again, sorry) this time near St Issell's church, lovely long grasses in the sun. Lovely wet feet and jeans. Dog covered in seeds. Copper dock towers amongst wild barley, dessicated parsleys, lark ascending.

Paint: (on homemade Ritec Red): gooey inky dark background with Permanent Mauve, Prussian Blue, Sap Green for the oak leaves in shadow; underpainting of Cadmium Green Pale, Naples Yellow/T.White on top, Burnt Sienna tint. Oxide of Chromium for the lighter leaves, lighter still with Lemon Yellow/T.White. Kings Blue Pale sky splodges.
Brushes: Size 2 filbert, Size 2 round.
