Original artwork description:

The New Things series is an attempt to define what the painting appearing with the return of FORM to the plastic arts might look like.

A form that is no longer associated with mimesis, i.e. it is not an imitation of reality.

The possibility of free manipulation of the form, which is given to people by new technologies and the rapid processing of the coordinates of points in space, opens up unprecedented opportunities in the history of human civilization for the plastic arts.

Obviously, the founding fathers of abstract art, who considered form and mimesis a limitation, could not predict what turn history would take.

Form, now we know this for sure, not a limitation, but new degrees of freedom.

Materials used:

oil
