The Whole Picture…
Nighttime is only moments away in a peaceful, palm-lined neighborhood.

This painting tells the story of the last gasp of light before night descends on a neighborhood in the foothills of Glendale, California. We see a quickly-morphing twilight sky; rows of dark, silhouetted palms stretch upward; scant traffic; a shadowy neighborhood street absorbs rays of late afternoon light. I love the quiet drama of this piece.

My Artistic Inspiration…
I’m a cityscape oil painter passionate about intense color and deep contrast. My inspirations are the fluid light, dramatic vistas, quiet neighborhoods and stark landscapes of California and the Southwest. I paint with a vibrant palette and expressive brushstrokes to share my vision of an essence of the urban experience. I hope that the viewer will be inspired to see the world around them in a new light.
