Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is a shot of The Sandcastles at Whitley Bay's Plaza area. The area pays homage to the town's heyday as a top Victorian holiday destination in the North East of England. This photograph was taken on an unusally warm April afternoon. I think the warmth of the shot and the long shadows give the feel of a lazy summers afternoon. The waterchute was a favourite thrill ride from the Victorian era. The famous St Mary's Lighthouse is also in the shot.
