I love the medieval Umbrian hill town I live in. Just below and along a country road is an old abbandoned villa which is one of my favorite spots to paint. It's full of vistas onto the countryside or simply a dirt road.
I painted this one late summer morning in June 2016. The wheat fields were almost ready to be harvested.
It is signed on the front and back. I use only the finest professional grade Italian oil paints, brushes, mediums, and supports.
