Original artwork description:

The Fortezza Albornoz is just off to your left as you step off the funicular in Orvieto. There is an internal garden and a breathtaking view of the valley. I painted this en plein air one early summer morning in July.
This painting is part of my Orvieto Series that was painted the last two weeks in July while staying with friends in the Umbrian town.
