Artist's description:

An original, unique acrylic monoprint/monotype, matt varnished, expressing the colour sensibility of the artist and keen sense of observation. This steep-sided volcanic rock is an island in the Firth of Forth. Yes, to say it is a favourite subject for artists is an understatement. I have tried in this monoprint to show its monumental presence as the sun breaks through to light the home of 150,000 gannets.
Inspired by sketches and photosketches of the East Lothian coast near Scotland's capital, Edinburgh with its changeable weather and beautiful islands and beaches, this one-of-a-kind monoprint/monotype will give the Artfinder collector as much pleasure as Fraser had in creating this artwork.
(A temporary mount is included in the package)
