Artist's description:

This painting was created after William Turner’s sketch “The Thames near Walton Bridges”, painted in 1805. I tried to capture the warmth of the colours and the aged appearance.
I painted both the present work and another one based on Turner’s “Windsor Castle from Salt Hill” , painted in 1807, which can also be found in my Artfinder selection.
Turner painted these, and up to 16 other sketches of small format, outdoors, on mahogany veneer, probably on a boat along the Thames.
My two paintings are of twin manufacture, richly framed and ready to hang. (See photographs). They are offered singly, at the indicated price, or together, with a discount of 20%.

Materials used:

MDF board, oil colours, brushes
