About the work:
When autumn draws over and the golden leaves are beginning to fall our emotions can lead us to a sort of roller coaster pathway.
As the painting was done in autumn of 2016 i decided that the leaves would be of the season.
The portrait captures a young lady who's inner struggle starts to show through her expression. her hands are a tell tale sign that a passion or a troubled thought has passed through her and shows her feelings even more than her face, i feel that the coloured hands give the painting another unique diversity that it otherwise wouldn't have.
