Riddle me this... riddle me that! Life is the greatest riddle of all and we all are in quest of answers! The Sphinx is the epitome of everything which puzzles and confuses us. We are most often torn apart by contradictory emotions and situations. Getting the right answer, following the right path or choosing the right option may amount to determining life or death. In those situations we most often feel like the victims of the sphinx. But we forget that the sphinx is nothing else but the battle of our mind and heart, conscience and desires. We are an enigma to ourselves, the toughest riddle which we mostly fail to solve. This artwork is intricately detailed and textured with pen drawing using waterproof ink on paper treated to watercolor wash.
