Artist's description:

48" x 60" painting by Doron Noyman entitled "The Soul of the City" speaks to the dualities present in city life. From a distance the city is a vibrant, sparkling array of sea, sky, buildings, bridges and boats. Close up the city reveals its heart and soul - the people who live, work and play there. Close up it is a complex dynamic of beauty and grittiness, where great abundance and great disparity coexist. All is present in the city. The painting continues around the edges of the thick gallery-wrapped canvas. **Currently out on exhibit at the Mountain View Performing Arts Center.**
