Artist's description:

A wonderful recreation of the sublime original painting by Anthony Van Dyck c.1628. It is believed to be a possible self portrait by Van Dyck and shows the influence of his teacher Peter Paul Rubens. The recreated painting you see here was made using pigments of the period hand-made by the artist and painted following faithfully the technique of the period.
