'ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE' William Shakespeare monologue from 'As You Like It'
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.
I am painting a series of 'self-portraits' using animal references as metaphors to portray traits of my character and stages of my life thus far. I have spent fantastic months over many years in Scotland. It was whilst on the Isle Of Mull, Inner Hebrides that I had my first up close encounter with these amazing beats. The Highland 'coo'. The tendency to also love to spend time chattering away is indicated in the title.
