Artist's description:

Cute, tiny painting made on 300 gsm 50% cotton Fabriano paper with watercolours, acrylics and pencil. The artwork is framed with a wooden vintage gold and brown ornate frame: my grandma loved to hang in her living room many of similar tiny paintings with wooden frames, but often they represented landscapes, puppies, mountain villages etc. Here you have a grandma-style robin interpreter. Did you know it? Robins adore Italian '60s pop songs, in fact the interpreter translate the bird song with the words "amore ritorna" (come back my love), part of the song "Le colline sono in fiore (amore ritorna)" performed by Wilma Goich in 1965 and very popular in Italy, even today.

PLEASE NOTE: the frame is a vintage item, so little signs of use are present, anyway it's in excellent vintage conditions. I needed a vintage item to give to this little painting the idea of grandma living room style ;-)!

My artworks are carefully packed and shipped worldwide via Poste Italiane.
