Original artwork description:
A recent city trip inspired me to paint this. The sunset lit up the buildings and made them appear gold in colour. The contrasting colours and reflections on the water were amazing. To capture this I have given the painting lots of texture and used layer upon layer of glazes and touches of 'gold'. The painting is continued round the edge so there is no need to frame and has two coats of protective varnish. This contemporary piece would add a stunning focal point to home or office.
