Artist's description:

The Red Queen looks at her King and in the silent language of marriage discuss important matters.
Last spring I was doing a lot of work for an exhibition entitled "Imaginary Friends".
I made a series of monoprints where I printed an abstract shape on the paper in two different colours and then intuitively found the faces which were in the ink and waiting to show themselves.
I then added paint.
Biblical and allegorical themes often arise in my work.

Materials used:

ink, acrylic, pastel, emulsion
