Artist's description:

An original, unique acrylic monoprint/monotype, matt varnished, expressing the colour sensibility of the artist and keen sense of observation. The golden eagle is the pride of Scotland. This majestic bird, resting, presented a real challenge to be monoprinted in acrylic paints. When I was at Edinburgh College of Art our tutor John Busby, a wonderful bird artist, took us to Perthshire to visit Keith Brockie, another very talented bird artist who had a golden eagle, recovering from an accident. I sketched this great bird and wanted to include it in this artwork.
Inspired by sketches and memories of the Highlands of Scotland, this one-of-a-kind monoprint/monotype will give the Artfinder collector as much pleasure as Fraser had in creating this artwork.
