Artist's description:

Long after sunset Ainsdale beach is becoming deserted, left to its own silent musings. The last tribe of visitors make their way through the dusk light back to the lights of civilization.
Across the blueing sea the Blackpool crowds are venturing out. The man-made Pleasure Beach calls with a cacophony of rides and amusements.
In the far distance the Cumbrian mountains hint gently at true wildness.
