If you haven't seen the 25th anniversary performance of "Phantom of the Opera", at the Royal Albert Hall in London, do it now. It's free at www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRTHRhOWq0A. If this doesn't work, just type in "phantom of the opera" in the search area. This is a scene where the Phantom is singing "Music of the Night".
Since the Phantom's residence was rather dark, I kept to mostly black and white.
This piece is India ink and acrylic paint on archival grade, architectural drafting film. It is an original “one-of-a-kind” work and no authorized copies will ever be made.
The painting is mounted on tempered masonite hardboard with a hanging strip on the back. The overall size, including the mounting board, is approximately 6” wider and 7” taller than the size of the painting itself. It can be immediately hung unframed or, if you prefer, a more formal frame can be added.
The painting is signed on the front and has a signed certificate of authenticity on the back.
