It was a fairly calm Summers morning when I headed to a lake on Anglesey North Wales. I had been here once before and made the decision to return with my canvas and paints. It is a course fishing lake which is set in a beautiful place surrounded by trees.. When I arrived the sun was beginning to rise and there was a calming silence around the whole lake. the sound of birds could be heard echoing in a peaceful harmony and flies hovered above the reflective water. As I began setting up my easel a few fisherman arrived and placed themselves around the lake. This time of the morning was magical and felt spiritual in a way. From where i was stood the other side of the lake looked like a place that once crossed offered eternal happyness and beauty. I decided to make the fisherman as walkers and families exploring this magical place. I had successfully managed to paint the colours and structure so I headed back to my studio where my imagination took charge in completing this painting
