A few of us artists here on Artfinder started A Painting a Day challenge on 18/1/16. The idea is, as the title says, to complete one small painting every day (as well as working on our other things) working from life and using things that surround us. Sometimes the objects we take for granted in our everyday life and hardly notice, can be interesting subjects for a still life painting. It is a very good exercise for those of us who need to loosen up and not overwork things.
This artwork is on canvas covered board, signed on the back with the number of Daily Painting's series.
"The old wooden jewellery box" is my 31st in this series.
When buying two or more of my Painting a Day series, shipping will be charged only for one.
