On a day trip to St Emilion, a village in the very heart of the Bordeaux wine region of France I wandered into a very smart shop exclusively selling Lalique glass. The display of glass was beautifully back lit and I tentatively asked the 'white-gloved' assistant if I could take a photograph. This picture is the result. The nearest I'll get to Lalique!
The picture is framed with a copper coloured frame under glass. This is truly a picture of contrasts.
