'The Moon Watches Over The Daft Wee Town' is an original drawing measuring 200mm x 155mm in size. 'The Moon Watches Over The Daft Wee Town' has been drawn in pencil and ink. Texture and detail has been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
This study has an array of madness going on in a daft wee town....we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg...can you imagine what's actually going on inside the houses...the imagination boggles....I had a lot of fun creating this drawing :)

A Daft Wee Town

It really is a daft wee town
The flowers have afro hairdos
The roofs have skinny lollypops all over
And the birds sing rock anthems when it rains

The sheds are shaped like elephants
And they insist you tell them a joke before you get inside

Each house is home to a daft wee tenant
Who sooner than not will be on their way
No one stays too long in the daft wee town
As it’s designed to turn you daft
