A landscape of the Camargue with the Mistral blowing strongly towards the sea. The cedars and rushes bend; the sea birds just hunker down in the black sheltered pools as white horses whip across the open water. Meanwhile the sun shines and the sky clears. Less than 20 km from Van Gogh's favourite scenes.
This is for sale without a frame. It is shown in a temporary frame to demonstrate the enhancement possible with sympathetic framing. It would warrant a proper beautiful professional frame at probably the same price as the painting.
