Eyes closed in timeless meditation (no hands on the clock) this assemblage piece was made in Devon, England from a very solid old 'Floris of Jermyn Street London' wooden liqueur box, pages from a 1914 dictionary, an Edwardian photograph, vintage enamel pocket watch face, and a vintage wax face (sourced on Ebay in 1999). Fronted by a Victorian metal picture frame, 'The Meditator' is made as a stand-alone piece for bookshelf or windowsill. Very much a one-off artwork which I really enjoyed making.
Please note: height is approximately 8.5 inches.
