Mathematics: the Queen of Sciences. She is so beautiful that she can only be a woman. As a cybernetic, I am a fan of it. I admire and adore it.
The imposing Palace of the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest) was built in the 19th century. The space between the ornate Corinthian columns on the second floor of the main façade of the neo-Gothic building is filled with 6 sculptures and compositions of allegorical female figures depicting various disciplines. All compositions are made by the sculptor Emil Wolf from Berlin. This painting depicts the sculpture of mathematics.
In recent years, I have used OSB as a basis. By retracting the paint layers, I use the texture of the veneer as part of my compositions to create a unique rustic industrial atmosphere. This is recycled art.
The painting is made with self-made paint, which basically consists of pigments and beeswax. Does not contain oil or other paints.
The procedure itself dates back to antiquity and has been known for thousands of years. Only a few artists around the world work with wax on their own.
This work will be delivered with an invoice, Care Instruction of my encaustic paintings, and a signed certificate of authenticity. Carefully packaged and tracked shipping. I ship this works in cardboard boxes careful wrapped in bubble foil and protect the painting with cardboard.
