Original artwork description:
This is a painting in acrylic on lakeland slate. It is one of a series of mythical, magical animal artworks faithful to animals that dwell in my home county of Cumbria. As for the process, I like to merge images digitally using apps and other software to create an image which forms the inspiration for a final painting. For this one though I used my imagination rather than too much digital manipulation.
