I love to walk around Camden and bottle the smell and the buzz and the music of the place on a balmy summer twilight evening. part of what gives a shabby urban setting such character are the people.
"The Lock Tavern, Camden" came into existence when I happened to be there watching a band. I happened to have a small sketch-book with me and my digital camera and did some sketches and took photos of this suitably hipster bunch. The red-haired girl in the foreground looks a little like a female version of Benedict Cumberbatch.
