Original artwork description:
Inspired by this winter's snow and walking around the countryside near our house. It was a winter wonderland. I did some sketches and this painting came from one of those snowy scenes. I started by a layer of warm yellow ochres and over a few days layered texture with snowy blue and grey whites. I like the way little bits of the yellow ochre show through. Hope you like it.
Materials used:
Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
