Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This painting is in the Language of Flowers series and symbolises 'poetry'. Briar Rose in the Language of Flowers means poetry and the miniature in the centre of the painting represents poetry, a young girl in a peaceful and beautiful setting relaxing and reading a book of poems. The painting also includes excerpts from poetry by Rupert Brooke. This also was included in an exclusive calendar for W H Smith.
