I love to climb the mountains of the lake district and the Langdale Pikes are perhaps some of the most dramatic.

This view point scans across the waters of Blea Tarn with the Langdales looming in the distance. Inspired by the winter and the northern lights this detailed image took approximately two weeks to draw and paint.

This is an original watercolour, painted on archival grade paper and presented in an off white, conservation mount.
