A study of the dainty Ladybird resting on a Thistle head. I wanted to capture the detailed reflections on the ladybird & the textures in the flower using tiny brush strokes of dense colour. This is combined with delicate layered washes to give energy & movement to the piece.
The canvas is a 3.5cm deep box “Loxley Gold” which has a high quality internal frame. The painting is precise to the edge & is natural canvas off white around the sides.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe packaging.
The painting is Signed on the front, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity
