This is the 2nd in my limited series of six pin-up girls set against a Georgia O'Keefe-style backdrop.

The idea to marry the two images came from a photo shoot with a natural, fair-skinned redhead who was rare in her loveliness. As I studied her translucent, radiant skin - blushing gently in peach and rose with a faint bluish undertone, I couldn't help but think how very similar her skin was to the delicate petals of an orchid, fragile and rare.
