As the weather now makes for more grey tones, I imagine that as the ice queen tends her garden, the frost lies like diamonds on everything. A very subtle collagraph in cooler greys and blues for a modern space.
I love to play around with collagraphs, a very loose way of printmaking and for this assembly print, I have made lots of little plates in foamboard, drawn on it to create a heavy line and added bits and bobs to get texture, inked up, I put all the pieces on the press and print the mono print, it is always a real surprise to see how these prints come out and never, are they the same. A wonderful technique when like me, I mostly do very process driven linocuts and etchings.
The paper I have chosen is warm white 300 g watercolor paper, textured and it measures 18" x 27" (46 cm x 70 cm)
I have signed and numbered (1/1) the print on the front, and you receive this very print
This collagraph can be framed to be really large, it is quite powerful even though the image is "fine".
I ship from my studio in Denmark, wrapped so it arrives safely to you, just say if you would like gift wrap!
Thanks, for looking in my shop, and welcome back.
