Artist's description:

The Humble Bumble Bee * This Bumblebee ( Latin : Bombus ) was collecting nectar using its long proboscis ( Tongue extension ) from my pink flowers in my garden in Worcestershire, England, UK.

When Darwin wrote of the animated bundles of fluff, he would have called them humblebees. Darwin would have called them humblebees because when they fly ! they hum...

This is a square (600mm x 600mm or 2 foot x 2 foot) original contemporary oil painting on deep edge box canvas (40mm depth) I have painted all four sides of the canvas in the same colours as the background. It does not require a frame and is ready for wall hanging.

The painting will be delivered protected and insured. Please ask any questions on this or any other paintings in my gallery and I will answer as soon as possible ~ Thank you for looking at my Artfinder Gallery ~ Simon =^.^=
