Artist's description:

He was a kind old man, the man who lived in the house on the corner. He waved every time I drove by. We talked for a while and his name was Jim. One day, at Halloween, I rigged the front door to let out a skreech if anyone stepped on the mat and the first teenagers to arrive set it off. I opened the door. No one was there. But down the street on the porch of the house on the corner, Jim was laughing his head off. He yelled out, "They ran!" I miss him. He's a good guy - the man who lives in the house on the corner.
