An original watercolour depicting a girl, the farrier's daughter, attending to a work horse while another awaits in the stable yard. Although based on a modern scene this painting has an old world feel to it, a glimpse of rural life as it has always been. There are lots of textures here, along with the usual high level of detail achieving a pleasant composition with plenty to look at. One of those paintings one doesn't lose interest in. Quite large, measuring about 13.5 x 19 inches it is presented in a white mount and framed in a complimentary Yew frame with a gold sight edge to a total size of approximately 22 x 28 inches, ready to hang.
