Titled "The Edge of Bliss" this original 18" x 18" acrylic on canvas painting came to be without a predetermined idea, I merely followed the flow and then enhanced it as it came into being. This painting was started at the end of August and was finally completed mid-October. There are different methods of painting here from using the acrylics like watercolours and doing layer after layer of light washes, to dripping, paint throwing and brushwork. You can still feel the summer's influence in it and the longing for long, leisurely soul-restoring walks out on the edge of bliss.
The sides of the painting are finished in white and it is wired and read to hang as is or can be framed to your liking.
