This piece is made using handmade watercolors and handmade ground. I make my watercolors using my grandmother's crushed jewelry, and other ephemera from her life and mine. The paints are made out of glass, gems, crystals, and she is adorned with a lot of 24k gold leaf. She sparkles a lot. She is painted on a thick, solid birch panel, that comes ready to hang.
