Original artwork description:

My practice mediates between photography and painting. Female narratives develop while the time is being recycled over.

The work is touching on Bluebeard story and domestic violence. The fabric used is an original vintage “zazdrostka”, traditionally put in the lower part of the window to obscure the activity inside the house, mostly in kitchens.

This is a soft launch - l have been thinking of direct incorporating of textiles into my painterly works for a while, and here it starts.

Materials used:

Oil, vintage textile.
