This print derives from a photograph I took a number of years ago as I walked along the banks of Crummock Water to the east of the boathouse.
I believe the boathouse is the only building on the lake. Quite a contrast with the heavily populated Derwent Water and Windermere.
The fell in the background is Low Fell. The view from the top looking down Crummock Water is beautiful, and despite the trudge to the top is well worth a visit.
The print is made from 8 different colour separations. I'm particularly happy with the colour scheme, quite a bold departure for me!
Printed on 300gsm Canaletto using water based inks
