"The blue flower magus from the East" is a dark and luminous painting in which a man from ancient Babylon appears, surrounded by a tree with red foliage and two luminous flowers with slightly bluish petals and a copper and gold corolla.

Poetic and mysterious, this painting symbolises the natural science of yesteryear based on the observation of nature and wisdom in all its noble, lively and colourful forms. The Persian magus evoke a curious mixture of astrological science, magic and religious discipline, and the flowers with their slightly bluish petals the purity and infinity of a cloudless sky.

Inspired by Klimt, the artist expresses all the sweetness of her universe, where the blue flowers appear as touches of light and poetry, signs of love for nature and its varied beauties.

The painted canvas is framed in an authentic antique wooden frame, hand carved and gilded with copper leaf.
