I love blue, hence the title, but this painting was inspired by Saunton Sands beach and all the weather conditions that you get there. I often go there sketching and often sit in the rain! I really enjoyed creating the textures and colours in this painting to create atmosphere. It was completed over three or four days, layering colours to give the painting depth. Hope you like it.
Materials used:
Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
